Macros & Cut & Paste

Tante Terri

I have tried to set up a macro to copy and paste text to mark for a Table of
Contents field. It appears to work fine, but when I go to the next place to
mark, the macro inserts the original copied text instead of the new text. I
have tried including in my macro a "clear clipboard" command, but that does
not work either.

I have run into this problem repeatedly with Word (i.e., a macro to insert a
copied address into an envelope - simply uses the text originally copied and
inserted instead of the latest text copied).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
