I've created a spreadsheet in Excel XP that has approx.
20 links to other workbooks. Within these workbooks,
there are macros used to "close" the file (created for
users with no pc knowledge and wouldn't know about using
the "x" to close an application)
QUESTION/PROBLEM: I've stored this spreadsheet and all
the linked spreadsheets into a directory on our
company's "shared drive" so all users can access.
However, when other users try to access, the links and
macros will not work. They're using Excel97. I tried
saving all the files down to Excel97 - but the
links/macros would still not work. Anyone know why this
is happening or how I could get this to work? When I set
the macros up, I used security of "low" so that the
confirmation screen wouldn't pop up. THANKS! ANY input
would be helpful.
