Macros on a protected document

Chris Loder

I have a global template that is loaded when Word starts up. It contains
some macros that used to work for some protected documents that have form
fields. On exiting one of the form fields, I used to run a macro, but today
that all stopped?!? I don't understand what happened. Now when I open the
template I can no longer access the macros let alone even run one.

Any ideas what I may have done?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Which version of Word?

Can you run the macro from a different file?

Is your global template listed in the list in the Tools => Templates and
Add-Ins dialog?

Is the macro still listed in the "on exit macro" for your field's
properties?

G'day "Chris Loder" <[email protected]>,

was the global read-only? Were you constantly customizing it? Do you
have Fast Saves turned off? What version of Word?
