macros on word 2004

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have recently bought an IMAC and am using word for mac 2008. On my old word 2004 I had several macros set up for regularly used phrases and names but can't seem to find anything on word for mac that will do the same. I'm sure there must be something so can anyone help?

As announced well before the product started shipping there is no VBA
support in Office 2008 - IOW, no macros. It will be re-established in the
next major release ["Office:Next"] but in the meantime you'll need to
continue using 2004 - which can run concurrently with 2008 - or replace your
macros with Apple Script wherever you can.
