Macros Unstable/Crash in Word 2004 OS X Mac

I recently purchased a new g4 Powerbook and copy of Office 2004, and
transferred the template I use to perform a long series of macros in
Word. To my frustration several of these long macros crash Word.
What's most mysterious is that the crashes are not every time, or at
the same point each time.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Even the error
report generated when this happens freezes!

Hi Steven,

First, be sure your OS and drive are OK. Run disk utility to repair
permissions and then give Alsoft Disk Warrior a go at your drive.

If everything is OK and you're still getting those errors, it's possible
that you need to add a DOEVENTS command someplace. VB code tends to run
on top of itself if the OS isn't done with something before VB is ready
to do the next thing. DOEVENTS tells VB to wait until the OS is done.
