Every time I click on Tools>>Options, instead of getting the options, I get
an error message that says, "The macro cannot be found or has been disable
because of your macro security setting."

I changed the macro setting to "medium," but I still cannot access the
options that I need. Please help me if you can.

Version of Word and OS and are they fully patched up to date?

I am using Word 2003 and Windows XP. I am not sure if they are fully patched.
Can you tell me how to find out?

If you go to Start and select All Programs, you should find Windows Update.
If you run Windows Update, it should report back updates available for both
Office and Windows.
