Macros

I have a user with several hundred macros in Word. I've given her a new
computer and now her macros are missing from the macro list so she'll have to
recreate them so she can access them using the alt-F8 command (or going
through the tools - macros menu option). She still has the macro files, but
word doesn't know where they are, apparently. Is there a way to make Word on
her new computer see these old macros and use them with out her having to
recreate them, or is there a file I can copy from her old computer for the
same effect? I asked about this a couple years ago but no one knew the
answer, so am hoping someone does now.

Hi and thanks for your replies. I haven't had a chance to get her old
normal.dot file from her old computer onto her new one yet, but I will
certainly try that. As for the file types of her macros, they are .doc files.

I do appreciate your help with this.

Hello again. I was able to copy the normal.dot file to her new computer and
it worked. Thanks!
