AFAIK, all the Support[n].dot and Macros[n].dot type templates have been
removed from Word 2007 as they were originally designed for Word 6 and
did only support English, and also had bugs.

Yes, I tried it and it didn't work any better than the old one, which is why
I asked whether it was identical to the old one.
I was scared of losing lots of these tweaks that I have worked into the
program over the years, so I installed a new installation Office 2007, hoping
to leave 2003 intact just in case. Well it didn't fully help because now even
in 2003 there are things that aren't working properly, although the
autocorrect does.
Thanks for the help, but I'm back to square one. Any other suggestions?
:
It isn't the same macro, AFAIK. Did you try it or simply assume that it was
the same?
When you installed the beta, did you do a new install or an upgrade over the
top? If the latter, Word should have picked up your formatted entries from
your existing normal.dot.

Thanks, but it didn't work. (Isn't that the autocorrect option of
Macros9.dot
I was talking about?)
Anyhow, what it does is restores the non-formatted autocorrect entries,
but
the formatted ones (I have lots in italics) just disappear.
So any other ideas?
:
First, try the utility you can download from
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ExportAutocorrect.htm.

For Word 2003 and earlier versions there was Macros9.dot which enable
Autocorrect entries to be saved and then moved and copied ot other
computers.
In 2007 it doesn't seem to work fully. By that I mean that it only
accepts
the unformatted entries.
So is there a macro for 2007, or some other way of transferring all my
2003
Autocorrect entries to 2007?
