MacTopia not Posting Issues

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

How come every time I post a question in the Word forum it shows up on the My Account page as a question posted to MacTopia?

If I search the Word forum or the entire Mactopia site I don't see my "permission and memory full errors" post?

I tried posting this issue twice to the Word forum without success. Oddly, it is listed in the My Participation column on my account page.

I tried even searching all of Mactopia by my user name only to see old Entourage post but the newer post.

Hi fjm -

I honestly don't know why the posts aren't showing up, but have forwarded
your message to the team that deal with the site. Hopefully they will be
able to resolve it.

When did you submit the messages (as exactly as you can recall).

The Mactopia interface is new and still has problems to iron out.

Did you realize this is not a web forum, but a web interface to this
newsgroup? The Mactopia web interface is just one way to access. If you can
do an email, then you can use the Entourage newsreader.

Another benefit is messages are downloaded and searchable by Entourage's
Spotlight search. By clicking on the "more" button you can get older
messages to search for help.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I posted the message more than once thinking that an error occurred in transit. But later I saw them piling up in the "Your Participation" column of the "My Account" page.

The message which did not posted are as follows:

Basic they are all the same post on the same issue. I would have deleted most of the post but did not see how.

Thanks for the details Fred.

I'm still not sure what the cause is, but the only message I'm finding is
the "Word Crash" submitted to the Word group (to which there are 2 replies).
Three more questions to help the web folks explore:

Were all messages posted as new or were they replies to others?
To which specific group did you post each message?
Were all submitted using the same identity (<[email protected]>)?

All the posts were new. Basically I was repeatedly posting the same question. As I mentioned at the top of this discussion each post was showing up in "My Account" but not in the Word forum.

All of the post were made to the Word forum.

All of the post were using the same identity.

The reason one of these post eventually succeeded is because I used Diane's suggestion and posted via Entourage.
