Mail Configuration Problem

I have just created an account on my W2K server with email
capabilities. I have configured my Outlook on another
station to receive emails. Then the security popup comes
up asking for the user and password. When I type in the
account just created, it does not work. I have to type in
my administrator account to logon but then I receive the
emails of the administrator and not the account created.
How can I solve this?
