I am using Outlook 2003 SP3 running on Windows Vista Ultimate SP1. I got the
following problem:
I have set all the mails to be delivered to a pst file called Outlook.pst
and then I opened another pst file called working.pst, I could close the
working.pst whenever I wanted, it worked perfectly before. However, today
when I tried to closed the working.pst, an error message popped up : "The
operation failed. An object could not be found", and the messages in the
working.pst were gone. I tried to delete the working.pst, another error
messge showed: "Working is an information service. For information about how
to remove an information service from a user profile, see Microsoft Office
Outlook Help".
I tried to clicked into the properties of the working.pst, at the "General"
tab, clicked the "Advance" button, the same error message "The operation
failed. An object could not be found".
Please advise what the problem is and how to remove the working.pst from my
Outlook.
Thank you.
