mail merge after security update prompts for allowance

hy,

I'm using OL2000 with all patches. Now I want to send a
mass mail to more than 1000 recipients. Therefor I use the
function "mail merge" in the "tools" menue, of the
contacts and link a word document with all this contacts.
Than I push the "merge to email"-button and following
message appears: "A program is trying to automatically
send e-mail on your behalf. Do you want to allow this? ..."

I have to agree every mail, more than 1000!

That's my problem.

How can I configure OL or the IE, security settings, to
accept all these mails?

As an end user, you can't suppress the security prompts. Your best solution is to upgrade to a newer version of Outlook or get a third-party solution -- see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail
