mail merge attachments error in Macro

I've followed Doug's directions before to use Word email merge with
attachments. This time, however, when I try to run the macro prior to the
merge, I get an error in the following line: Dim oOutlookApp As
Outlook.Application.

I get a pop-up: Compile error: User-defined type not defined.

Anybody able to help me get beyond this? I appreciate it!!!

It sounds like you are missing a reference for the macro. I'm not sure
which macro you are referring to or who "Doug" is, I suspect Doug
Robbins??

Anyway, in the VBA Editor, go to Tools/References and add a references
to "Microsoft Office Outlook 11" if using Word 2003.

For previous versions use: Outlook 10: Word 2002, Outlook 9: Word
2000, Outlook 8: Word 97. There should be only one version of Outlook
listed so it should be easy to find.
