Mail Merge Contacts by categories

I have a client that wants to do a mail merge by
Categories. The contacts can have multiple categories
assigned and the merge will be for two or more categoreis
at a time without mailing duplicate mailers.

First, how do I merge by two or more categories
2nd, If a contact is asssigned to two categories how do I
remove the duplicates so they do not receive two
mailings. (The mailing are always the same stuff)

You can't filter a mail merge on Categories. If you want to filter on
categories you can copy the filtered records to a temporary subfolder and
use that as your data source for the mail merge.
