mail merge data change

I am looking at the preview of my mail merge and can see that in the middle
of the set of hundreds of labels one field of data randomly changes to a 0.
It does not match the data in the data source and it does not occur until the
19h label. No formatting is different on this label than the ones prior.
When I highlight the zero to right click, it has it listed as Next Record and
not Merge Field. If I manually make the zero the correct merge field, then
it updates it with the wrong information. If I edit the list of recipients,
that field starts showing a 0 at the 19th row. It doesn't show that on the
real data source in Excel!

Hi =?Utf-8?B?bXNka2Vy?=,

1. Which version of Office are we discussing, here?

2. What is the value of the field in question in Excel?

3. And the values for that field of the first record? The second? And the
records just above and below the 19th?
