Mail Merge Data Format

L

Lisa@Pru

I have a colleague that is insistent that you can list data vertically in an
Excel file and still use it as a data sourse for a mail merge. So instead of
your headers running left to right and having a single row of data for each
merged item, you have a column of data for each merged item.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Have your colleague show you how to do it and do please post back here with
the information so that we can all learn.

p.s. I know that you cannot do it with mail merge. You could however write
a macro that would allow you to create multiple documents containing data
from the columns of a spreadsheet that was arranged that way.

Hope this helps.
