Mail Merge Data Link Error

Recently I needed to reinstall MS Office 2003 on my Windows Server 2003
running Terminal Services. After the reinstallation, Office 2003 worked great
in every way EXCEPT, when I create a new WORD mail merge with an existing
Excel spreadsheet, a Data Link Properties box pops up with the message:

"Could not find an installable ISAM"

However, if I close all the dialog boxes, it does connect to the Excel
document and the mail merge works. MS Knowledge Base article #209805
addresses this issue, but it is for Office 2000 and it doesn't correct the
problem in Office 2003. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks, Bob. While MS Knowledge Base article # 283881 does address Office
2003, my registry doesn't contain the keys that it references. Here is what
my registry looks like under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\

Jet
4.0
Engines
SharePoint
ISAM Formats
Excel 5.0
Excel 8.0
HTML Export
Text
WSS
Transporter

I found the Msexcl40.dll file in my System 32 folder but, as you can see, I
don't have a key for "Excel" under ENGINES. I did a repair of MS Office 2003,
but it didn't add that key.

Can I add one myself?

Thanks, JOE
