mail merge document printing very slowly...

hi all,

i am printing a mail merge document directly to the printer. it is running
very slowly. there are a lot of pictures etc. in the document which i think
is slowing it down. at the moment we are outputing only 200 records at a time
as the word document crashes any time we try to output any more than 200. has
anyone seen this before and if so do you know what the solution to my problem
is? thanks in advance for your help.
