Mail merge does not recognize outlook database

I'm doing a label mail merge. I set up the label document and then selected
Outlook Contacts as my data source and then selected Contacts/personal
folder. No names or addresses appear even though I have over 200 in my
Outlook contact folder. Any ideas as to how to retreive these addresses??

No, I've never had to export it from Outlook to Word before (on my old
computer). How do I do this? Thanks
