Mail Merge dymanic subject line

Andrea Pala

Help please!
I'm trying to send a mail merge from Word, but I want each
message to have a subject line that differs based on the
user's order number. Is this possible?
Fields:
name, order#, email address

You would need to use a macro for this. You can probably modify that in the
article "Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments" at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

There is no easy built-in method. If it is Word 2002 or 2003, you should be
able to use the Mailmerge events in Word VBA to modify the subject for each
item. But it isn't particularly simple. Ask if you want further details.
