Using Access 97 to send emails to a list is cool but when
I have to send files along people are having trouble
opening them. If you want to send a file with the email
you have to mark the message to be sent as an attachment.
Then the recipients get a message they see as a file, if
they can figure out to double click on it (no cursor
change to indicate it is an attachment) then they can read
the message and see the file. When they click on the file
it behaves like an object rather than altering the
appearance of the cursor to indicate you can expect a file
to open if you click it twice. People report they can’t
open the files. Bummer. ANY one familiar with this, and
have suggestions? Or, know about other email list
management software that works better for managing
multiple lists and sending files with messages?
