My Excel file has different headers and the fields are

However, when I Mail merge into Word XP today all fields
enter the same information.
Yesterday the information was correct.
Nothing was changed overnight.
I am pointing to the correct Data Source.

Hi Bob,

I'm not certain I'm understanding how it's going wrong...
Your problem description is difficult to interpret, but
let's see what I get right:

You link to the Excel data file. And the list of field
names in word corresponds correctly to the column headers
in Excel? (Please do double-check this again, as this may
not be the case any more if the connection to Excel has
been lost.)

But when you opened the main merge document today all the
fields show only the data from one particular field? And
does this change from record to record?

If you press Alt+F9 to display the field codes do the
MergeField fields refer to different data source fields, or
all carry the same field name?

What happens if you go through the process of linking to
the data source again?
