Is there a question here? Your statement is incomprehensible.

You answered my message today and said it was
incomprehensible. Here is what is happening.

I have an envelope set up in Word 2003 that has mail
merge fields on it for the addressee. The envelope
document is tied to a data base, also in Word 2003. When
I have the envelope on the screen there is a tool bar
with left facing and right facing arrows with the number
of the addressee in the center. I can go through the
addressees with the arrow functions. To the right of
those arrows is an icon (a database sheet with
binoculars). If I click on this it brings up the find
function. If I type in a name and then choose which field
to look in it never finds the name. I also have the
database tool bar open. If I click on the DataForm button
and use the find function there, it always works.

The database sheet with binoculars button used to work
just fine.

Any ideas as to what may be wrong?

Roger
