Mail Merge for Coupons

How can I tell Word to advance to the next record when I am trying to print 4
coupons per page? Because I have 4 coupons per page, it prints 4 coupons of
the same name. I don't want to waste paper by putting one coupon per page.

Carefully position the cursor at the front of label 2 (then 3, then 4) and
insert a NEXT Word field. (There's a button on the mail merge toolbar with a
list of "Word fields".)

Cindy,

Thanks again for your help. I tried it but it tells me that I can't use the
next record etc. fields in header, footer, or some other situations I
obviously have.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks again.

You need to avoid those situations.

(I'm laughing at Doug Robbins' response to this!)

"What he said". But can you explain why you might want to put anything
in the labels into a header/footer?

Why it won't work: the header/footer is valid for the entire page (at
the very least). How should Word know from which record it should
display the information in a header/footer? There are tricks, but I have
to know exactly what you have in mind.
