Mail Merge from Outlook Address Book does not list all Contact subfolders

The Outlook 2000 Contacts has 24 subfolders. When MailMerge Helper for "Use Address Book", and "Outlook Address Book" is selected, the "Mail Merge from Contacts Folder" dialog shows only 17 of the 24 subdirectory values in an unsorted list. The subfolder I want to use is not included in the list.

The work around was to export the subfolder of contacts to an Excel file, and mail merge using the Excel file as the data source.

Is there a solution to showing only 17 of the 24 contact subdirectory folders

Check that every contact folder's properties marks the folder as being in
the Outlook Address Book. Being a subfolder of the Contacts folder is not
enough as far as I know.

Thank you, Peter. That was the right answer. I did not realize that property was there nor the effect it had. I also did not realize that some of the subfolders were created differently. Thanks, again
