Mail Merge Headache

Can anyone help me please, this is causing me a real headache.

A Database here (Access 2003) uses code to open a mailmerged document
in Word 2003 which is linked to a query.


Problem is, it opens the document but doesnt actually do the
mailmerge. If i open the document separately, it is fine.


If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

That's a bit like saying 'My car won't start' There is not enough
information to hazard a guess at the cause - but a look at your code might
be a good place to start - and is that Access vba? If so you need an Access
forum.

ok thanks, but Just to add.... i am happy with having to click "View
Merged Data" once the document has opened, but the mailmerge toolbar
is greyed out (Unavailable), this is not anything to do with access,
more an issue with word?

Have a look at the symptoms described in the article. I think they match
your description fairly closely. Then why not just try it?
