mail merge in templates

M

maggs cameron

can anyone advise me if it is possible to create a
template, protect it and still run a mail merge.

Have created a template with mail merge fields. But if I
protect it, so that the drop down, fillin fields etc work,
I cannot run a mailmerge, this areas becomes greyed out.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

You can use a macro to get around the problem, to a certain
extent. See
