Mail Merge in Word 2002

I have tried to do a mail merge in word 2002 I get an error message that
Outlook isn't my default email client. It is setup to be my default email
client contrary to what Word believes. is there a work aroun?

You can try two things. The first is to do a mail merge from inside
Outlook. Go to your address book and click on Tools. It should have an
option for Mail Merge...Click on it and it will take you through the
wizard like in MS Word.

The other option is to export your address book into a database of some
kind. Then use that file to have Word mail merge.
