mail merge in XP

How do you skip blank lines in the Word XP mail merge? That no longer seems to be an option in the merge process. Thanks

The feature is still switched on by default, but does not work in the same
way - for example, blank lines within an IF field are not removed in Word XP
whereas they are in Word 2000.

You can still toggle the feature by re-enabling and using the old
MailMergeHelper - Tools|Customize|COmmands, select category All Commands,
locate command MailMergeHelper and drag it to a toolbar or menu.
