I am attempting to create a form letter signed by different people in which I can merge in the appropriate picture of that person on the letters they sign. What's the best way to do this?

save the pictures to disk (preferably in the same folder). Then create an
additional column in the data source with the file name for each picture
in the row with the record of the person. You then use an IncludePicture
field to link in the picture, with the mergefield for the picture name
providing the correct picture.
