Mail Merge Issues With Letterhead

Wondering if there is any insight on how to have a mail merge print the
first page of each record to a different paper tray. It seems that in
OS X the entire batch is sent to the printer as one job, not individual
jobs. May require a macro in word through the current record merge
option in the data merge manager and step by step navigation, but I'm
hoping there is an easier way.

Sorry, had some thoughts yesterday, forgot to post them.
Please keep discussion on yesterday's duplicate post, which better explains
the problem anyhow.
