Mail Merge Labels

I am trying to create a label printing from an Excel data
sheet. I have done this before for very large mailings.
Now whenever I get to the step of choosing whice
receipents to include the computer locks up. I have tried
using the wizard, mail merge tool bars and print
envelopes. It only locks up at the same step every time.
Besides the glaring problem of working in ME,what can I do.

As a temporary (I hope) workaround I would probably copy the Excel workbook
and do the record selection there (i.e.just delete all the stuff you don't
want), or maybe use MS Query to do it (the option is on the Tools menu in
Select Data Source).
