Mail merge missing addresses

Merging Word and Excel, the first address on the second and following pages
is missing. Other wise everything is OK. Any ideas why?

You have an unwanted Next Record field at the end of the first (or start of
the second) page of a form letter merge.
Or if this is a label merge you have a next record field at the start of the
first label or at the end of the last label. - see
