Mail Merge multi records on one page

I have a shell that I have had pre printed by a printer that has 3 separate mailable items per page (the page is perforated, so I can run an 8.5x11 through my printer and separate them for mailing.). I have used text boxes in a Word document to place the data in the correct spots to match the pre printed shell. My problem is I need Word to go to the next record before going to the next page. I have used the Word Merge field <Next Record>, but it doesn't seem to apply to text boxes, and will print . Do you have any ideas on how I can place my data correctly while still getting them to merge properly?

Use a table (with Exact row height) instead of text boxes.

Use a table with exact row height instead--like three giant "labels" on the
page. Set it up as a Label-type merge.

I have the same problem - what's the solution?

This post worked. This is what I did

2 post cards per page, word 2007, want to print 2 different addresses per
page (one for each post card) Don't use a text box.

- top of page >insert
->tables
-chose how many rows you want (I used only 5 and only one colum
-drag the left edge to where you want the address to start to print
-insert your fields into each row, ie first name and last name into first
row, company in second row, address 3rd row, city, state and zip on 4th row.
-highlight block and copy to second post card
-insert "next record" just before first name on second postcard. (this you
do by going to >mailings, >rules, >next record.)

Now go to your preview and look at your big smile when you see it just
printed a different address on the second post card.

enjoy. (it only took me 2 days to find the answer by trial and error and
then I read this post.)

Thanks everybody.
