Mail Merge of Contacts

Marcus

I am trying to Mail Merge Contacts from Outlook 2003.
When I format the envelop I want to add the Spouses name
to the Address.

Ex. Mike & Emily Smith. However; It will not import the
Spouse's name field from Outlook 2003 to Microsoft Word.
All I get is Mike & Smith

Or I can format it to get Mike Smith but I can't get it to
bring in Mike & Emily Smith..

Any suggestions?

hello Marcus, All I have to test your problem is Outlook
2000, but I accomplished the task by inserting a "nickname"
field which is first name only, i.e. "Mike" ; typing
ampersand, then inserting "spouse" which is full name,
i.e. "Emily Smith"; click "merge" in Word and it works
like a charm...is the problem that "spouse" field is not
available for insert? I did find that any changes made to
the contact required re-starting the whole mail merge
process from scratch. Glad to follow-up further if this
does not help.
