Mail Merge Problem

I have 20,000 data file to be mail merge with a MS Word
Document. I made a program to call MS word application
via OLE using Word Object Library. It works fine.
What is frustating is that MS word after a number of mail
merge just stops. I tried several times. It stops or hang
after roughly merging 5000 times. Another times, it stops
after 7000. It is intermitent.

Hi (e-mail address removed),

This is a known problem with Word, and is basically system
configuration dependent. Word just runs out of resources.
You'll need to break the merge down, either by using separate
data files, or by filtering, or by telling Word to merge from
1 to 3999, then 4000 to 7999, etc. until everything has been
processed.
