Mail Merge Problem

After clicking the "Electronic mail"
I am Getting the Following Steps as per the help in the "WORD"

If i send the mail Format as "Plain Text" its WORKING. I mean the mails are
created by WORD & send to my OUTLOOK EXPRESS.

But if i send the mail Format as "HTML" its not working. I mean the the mail
are not created & send to my OUTLOOK EXPRESS.

a.. 1.. In the To box, verify that Email_Address or the equivalent is
displayed. This ensures that Microsoft Word merges e-mail addresses into the
To line of your messages, not some other merge field information.
2.. In the Subject line box, type the subject line you want to use for all
the messages.
3.. In the Mail format box, select the mail format you want to use.
4.. Under Send records, select the records you want to merge.
1.. To complete the merge and send the messages, click OK.

The following OPTION in my outlook express is also ENABLED.

OPTION : Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me. -> ENABLED

But i am not getting the Allow access for check box.

Hence i am not able to do the following

select the Allow access for check box, and then select the amount of
time you need to complete the merge. Click Yes.


Give me a solution for this.

As I understand it, the HTML format only works when you merge to OUTLOOK (not
OE). I'm not familiar with any of the mechanics behind this, so I can't tell
you WHY this is the case, just that it is. (Someone in the OUTLOOK newsgroup
might know more about "why".)

So, you'd either need to use Outlook as your email program for mail merge, or
you'd need to get a third-party software for creating mass emails. You should
find a list of some of the applications available (and that can do a lot more
than Word's functionality, such as attachments) at www.slipstick.com.
