Mail Merge Problems.

Geoff Burnhill

I have an Access database with a query that extracts
information from a list of repairs. I then have Word
pointed at that query for a mail merge and it extracts
date information for when the repair was brought in. When
you view the query in access the date format is in the
correct, English, format DD/MM/YY. When u see the
information in Word it has changed it to MM/DD/YY which is
extremely annoying. Any tips?

Is this Word 2002 ?
In the meantime have a look at the Excel data section of
http://www.gmayor.dsl.pipex.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm
(the issues affecting Access are the same as those for Excel and the
solutions are similar) and
