Mail Merge Record Display Error

I use MS Word 2003 Mail Merge with an Excel List of about 400 entries. The
Record(Go To Record) on the Mail Merge Toolbar does not display the correct
record #(truncates least significant digit over 100).

Mail Merge correctly merges all records, and I can pull up any record in the
list, but the Record number truncates. I have increased the size of the
Record # on the Mail Merge Toolbar, but records over 99 truncate the LSD.

I have been using this mail merge document for years, this recently started
happening. I have seen other posts regarding this problem.
