Mail merge toolbar

When I press Tools/Mail Merge, I get a wizard opening in the task bar. How
can I avoid this and just have the mailmerge toolbar showing, please?

Don't press Tools > mail merge! Select the mailmerge toolbar from view >
toolbars.
