Mail Merge Truncating Merge Field Text

My mail merge word document (createed in Word 2000) is truncating a merge field from an Access 2000 database query that has a memo field as it's source. It truncats after 255 characters, is there anything I can do to correct this. The database was created in Access 2000. Thanks in advance. Paul

you need to install all the SPs for Office 2000. This will expand the accepted number of characters to about 65,0000 for a memmo field.

I had a similar problem and tried the service packs to no avail....

I know this is an extra step, but it worked for me...try inserting the
record(s) from your query into a temp table and use that temp table as
the datasource for your mailmerge document, should work.
