Mail Merge Using the Mailing Address in Outlook 2003?

J

JT

I am having some issues and hope that someone can clarify the "best" way for
me to learn how to selectively mail merge. I have reviewed several boards
with different solutions and ideas, but can't get the right one.

I have a Category, Holiday Cards, that I wish to selectively choose (CNTRL
and Mouse) the contacts I wish to mail merge. I go to Mail Merge and am
getting blanks. I would also like to choose the "mailing address" field since
some contacts are business and others are personal. I am stuck and running
into some problems, any help would be appreciated, especially in step by step
format. The tutorial in Microsoft didn't work for me...tried to do my
homework in Yahoo Answers and MS site.

Thanks and Happy Holidays

what do you mean by 'getting blanks'? what happens when you use the mailing address field?

See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/mailmerge.htm for the mail merge steps.

I actually got it to work, but via a bit of a backwards way. There was a
limit to the fields that I had to choose from, but luckily Mailing Address
was one of them!

Do you know of any free productive plug in's or tutorials that I could use
to learn more about the powers of Outlook? It's a really powerful tool that I
would like to better master.

Thanks for your offer to help!
