Mail Merge with Absolute URL for images

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hello, this is the deal.

I have HTML email I'm trying to mail merge with Word 2008 into Entourage 2008 with a couple images. The images are in my remote web server with absolute URL's. After running the mail merge I see in the outbox of Entourage all the generated emails but with the images as an PNG attachment. That is wrong. Why is Word or Entourage creating an attachment when all the images are remotely hosted and directed to the remote host?

I was able to do in Windows, but not sure what I'm doing wrong with Mac.

Thank you.

Word is trying to be "helpful" and resolving the URLs for you :)

How are you placing those images? I suspect you will need to insert an IMG
tag instead of a picture.

Cheers
