Mail merge with attachments using rich text

Can anyone tell me how to do a mail merge with an attachment using rich text?
When I try to send, I only have options to send in HTML, Plain text or as an
attachment. You would think the attachment option would be ideal since I am
sending a message with an attachment, but instead it creates a file that has
to be opened to view my emial and then the attachment has to be viewed as
well which is cumbersome and not ideal.

Also, I have noticed that I can't send a mail merge message on behalf of a
co-worker, even though I am delegate with those permissions. When the
message comes through, it shows it was from me instead of them. Any Ideas?
