I just got a call from one of our techs and they are
having problems doing a merge at a clients. The client
has just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office XP - unsure
of operating system. When they mail merge on an old
system using Excel 2000 as the data sources into Word 2000
main document the numbers come in formatted with the
dollar signs, commas, and decimal places. When they merge
from the old excel 2000 data source into Word XP it
appears to loose the formatting. Any ideas?
