Mail Merge

I am trying to create labels, which seems to happen just
fine except that it creates one field on each label rather
than one record on each. Any help is much appreciated.

At some point you have to add fields to your label layout, so
a. which version of Word are you using?
b. what fields are you adding?
c. if you use Alt-F9 to show the "field codes" in your mail merge main
document, what do you see?
