mail merge

can someone help me, I have collated a mail merge directory via word, tools
mail merge etc, but unable to print it out on a sheet of paper and not as
labels. I am using windows xp microsoft office 2003

Can you be more specific please?

If you have created a mail merge directory, you cannot print the result
directly. You have to save the resulting Word document first.

If you have a data source, you should be able to choose the "Label" type of
mailmerge if you want to produce labels. Are you trying that? If so, where
do things go wrong?
