Mail merging with attachments and html formatting

Howdy

I'm using this method of sending out a mail merge letter with attachments:

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

But the email message that gets sent looses all of its formatting (but not
all of it) and I'm wondering if there is any way to retain the formatting?
It seems to loose all word formatting and send with the default outlook
message formatting?

Thanks

Sam.

You have no control over how the recipient will view the email message, so
if you really want the formatting to be retained, send the letter as an
attachments as well. To create such individual attachments, see the
"Individual Merge Letters" item on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's website at:

http://www.gmayor.com/individual_merge_letters.htm

If you are using Word XP or later, the "Add-in to Merge Letters to Separate
Files" that I have written and that can be downloaded from that site will
allow you to create each letter as a separate file with a filename taken
from a field in the data source with a minimum of fuss.

Thanks Doug - I thought that might be the case but I was hoping there was
away around it! :)
