Mail Receipient is "grayed out"

Yea! I figured out how to get "Mail Receipient" to appear in Office 2003 Pro;
however, it is "grayed out". I would really like to use this feature. Any
suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

What is your default mail client? Are all Office programs at the same
level?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal

I had the same problem a week or so ago.

Outlook Express was my default mail client. I found, after a lot of
suggestions that were all logical but didn't solve the problem, I had to do
a Repair/Install of XP. Several folks suggested that the root of the
problem lay in having installed Outlook 97 and removing it along with all
other Office 97 components prior to installing Office 2003. For whatever
reason, the repair/install fixed it up. Mail Recipient now works fine from
Word 2003.

Hope this helps.
