Mail report as attachment - problem with long memo fields

I am using the Mail Recipient (as Attachment) button on a custom toolbar to
mail an Access 2002 (SP3) report, choosing RTF format.

For records in a memo field on the report with may characters, the record is
truncated in the RTF file when viewed in Word.

The report itself prints everything in that field. It also exports correctly
in Snapshot Format.

How can I make the RTF process work correctly?

Try using: Tools menu, office links and then export to word. Save the file
and then attatch it to an email manually.

Thanks for your quick response.

I did not explain myself clearly; apologies.

I am trying to use my custom toolbar with the button to automate the
compostion of the e-mail with the Access Report as an attachment. I want to
avoid any manual activity associated attaching the report because my
particular users lack confidence in locating the correct file to attach.

I have tried your suggestion, and tried OutputTo from within a VBA module.
Both these methods truncate the memo field when the text is long and the
output format is RTF.

(As a workaround I am using SnapShot format, which does not truncate long
memo strings, as far as I can see from initial tests. Downside of SnapShot is
that the recipient cannot copy and paste from the SnapShot doucument, so they
have no way of getting at the text contained therein. Client, I know, will
not be happy with this.)
